The International Board of Sexology Professional (IBOSP) is a professional membership and certification organization dedicated to creating a collegial, professional “home” for mental health and medical clinicians, educators and researchers who are dedicated to creating pathways into the future of integrative sexuality.
The field of sexuality including sex therapy, sex education, sexual medicine, and sex research, is exploding today. With the introduction of cutting-edge, sex-positive approaches in recent years, hundreds of mental health, medical, and education professionals are breaking through previous cultural and psychological barriers to offer their clients life-changing services and information and the promise of greater sexual well-being and understanding. Increased sexual literacy is sorely needed to meet the challenges being presented to us by our clients and consumers.
